 Part of a group invited by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) to conduct training sessions for UNDP country officers in the Middle East on integrated water resources management. Cairo, Egypt January 17 and 18, 2006

 Part of a group invited by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) to conduct training sessions for Arab parliamentarians on developing national strategies for water resources management and on developing and writing a water bill during UNITAR’s Regional Seminar For Arab Parliaments - Capacity-Building For Parliaments On The Sustainable Management Of Water Resource., Beirut, Lebanon November 29 – 30, 2005

 Organized and conducted a four-day workshop on Integrated Water Resources Management for Iraqi officials. Workshop was sponsored by UNEP-IETC. Amman, Jordan. April 6-9, 2005.

 Organized a regional conference on Water Resources Management in Arid and Semi-arid Regions. Sponsorship for the conference was from The Isam Faris Foundation, UNESCO, and Dar Al-Handasah. Beirut, Lebanon October 7-9, 2004
